Adam Huszár better known as Retroid is a Hungarian electronic music producer and dj. He had been attracted to music from his childhood. He began making music in the middle 90's and soon settled on ambient and electro. Pioneer artists like Hybrid, BT, Crystal Method inspired his work and after few years he turned to progressive breaks and house. He affectionately uses atmospheric elements and lot of melodies in his productions. Starting with the "Forbidden World / Shing Path" EP on Composure Records in 2006, Adam has put together an impressive discography including releases, collaborations and remixes on more than 40 labels like Distinctive Records, System Recordings, Inkfish, Sound Of Habib, Solaris, Deep Blue, Proton and many more. Adam gets involved numerous music genre during the years and nowdays he produces on a very wide spectrum of music under many aliases and formations.

In February 2007 Adam founded Morphosis Records dedicated to progressive electronic dance music releasing both his own and music from other artists. Soon in 2008 he launched another label Ego Shot Recordings which is mainly focusing on breakbeat.

Adam produces music all the time and looks for contacts around the globe. His tracks are welcomed and supported by various artists and dj's like Hernan Cattaneo, Markus Schulz, Andy Moor, Ferry Corsten, The Crystal Method, Hybrid and the list goes on.

Recognition of his productions over the past years has provided Adam with an increasing DJ diary. He had numerous gigs and partys in different clubs and festivals all over the world. You can listen to his mixes month by month on different on-line radio stations. He hosted his own breakbeat radio show "Revive!" on Proton Radio and "Mindfields" where dark intelligent music gets the leading part with co-host Dynamic Illusion on Frisky Radio.

Retroid polgári nevén Huszár Ádám producer és dj 1983-ban született Hatvanban. Gyerekkora óta érdekli a zene és már viszonylag korán 14 éves korában kezdett el saját dolgokat komponálni. Eleinte nagy hatással voltak rá az ambient, elektro (Anthony Rother és Datapunk kiadványok, Westbam) és experimentál stílusok. Néhány évvel később pionír előadók mint például Hybrid, BT, Crystal Method, Evil 9, Quivver szintén nagy hatást gyakoroltak rá, olyannyira, hogy a progressive break és house irányaztokban találta meg a hozzá legközelebb álló hangzást. Zenéi jellemzően atmoszférikusak és dallam orientáltak. Számos műfajban bizonyított már az évek során, így munkáiban szinte minden zenei stílus jegyeit megtalálhatjuk.

2007-ben megalapítja első kiadóját a Morphosis Records-ot ahol főleg progressive house és break zenéket jelentet meg saját és más előadóktól. 2008-ban megalapítja az Ego Shot Recordings-ot melyen party orientáltabb, keményebb zenék látnak napvilágot különböző műfajokban mint például nuskool break, electrobreak, techfunk és stb.

Ádám zenéi több mint 20 különböző lemezkiadónál jelentek meg ez idáig, mint például a System Recordings-nál, Solar Stone Solaris kiadójánál, a svéd Inkfish és Sound of Habib kiadóknál illetve a Proton rádió népszerű Particles label-én. Zenéit világszerte játszák és chartolják olyan dj-k mint például Hernan Cattaneo, Markus Schulz, Andy Moor, Ferry Corsten, The Crystal Method és még sokan mások.

Az elmúlt években a producerkedés mellet, számos fellépése volt külföldön és Magyarországon egyaránt, különböző klubbokban és open air rendezvényeken többek közt a Dum Dum fesztiválon. Három népszerű rádió műsornak (Mindfields, Revive! és a Morphosis Records Radio Show) házigazdája különböző on-line rádió állomásokon (Frisky, Proton, Pure FM és Danceradio).
